Master and Servant Postmortem

Due at the beginning of class, day 02, week 04.

For the final package in your Master and Servant project –

Include the following appropriate documents for EACH of your roles in two folders labeled “LastName_FirstName_Master”, AND  ”LastName_FirstName_Servant”:

  • ALL of your written correspondence

  • Notes from all of your in-person discussions

  • Any and all reference images that were used in your work

  • Include any and all bids, invoices and contracts that you may have used.

  • A (roughly) one page paper answering the following questions:

    • If you were the client, did the artist fulfill your request to your satisfaction?

    • If you were the artist, did the client communicate their needs clearly?

    • What could you as the artist or client, in this particular situation, have done differently?

    • What would make the process more efficient?

    • As the client, do you feel as though your artist charged an appropriate amount?

      • How did you determine that?

    • As the artist, do you feel as though you’ve been paid fairly for your work?

      • Why?

    • What was the biggest challenge in this process?  (For you as artist and as client)

    • What would you recommend to someone entering the field as a Freelancer?

Turn all of this in as a single Acrobat pdf file into the appropriate folder on the Drop Off Drive.
