Broadcast Graphics Assignment 01 Due at the beginning of class, day 02, week 01.
This is an evaluative, pass/fail assignment.
If you turn it in on time, in the requested format, then you pass.
If you don’t, then you don’t.
This is a way to help me understand what you can do – to evaluate your current skill level.
It’s non-judgmental that way.
So set the bar wherever you like.
If it’s advanced, then that’s where we’ll go.
If it’s basic, that’s okay. We’ll start there.
But it’s up to you.
Choose three of the words listed below and visually illustrate their meaning clearly.
The work must be exactly 10 seconds long, (NTSC – 30/29.97fps)
You may include the text of the words chosen, but only those words.
Your choice and use of type will be a point of critique, so pick your font carefully.
You may include audio.
The final movies should be rendered as:
NTSC DV Widescreen, (720X480, pixel aspect ratio 1.21, frame aspect ratio 1.82)
QuickTime, using DV/DVC Pro – NTSC, Best quality, progressive scan, 16X9.
The rendered movie must be labeled:
“Lastname_Firstname_Words”
Turn in only the final rendered movie by the beginning of class Day 02, Week 01, to the “Finished Words” folder in Z://Drop Off/Steve Paul/Broadcast Graphics.
