CA3460 Computer Animation Studio
Utilizing advanced computer programs, students will be able to design, produce and edit imaginative animation sequences. Special topics in modeling and animation will be covered such as advanced concepts, lighting, compositing, special effects, camera moves, audio and inverse kinematics.
Students will:
- Integrate squash and stretch, anticipation, and staging into a 3-D animation
- Integrate straight ahead action, pose-to-pose, follow through, and overlapping action into a 3-D animation
- Integrate slow in and slow out, arcs, and secondary action into a 3-D animation
- Integrate timing and exaggeration into a 3-D animation
- Integrate weight, depth, balance and appeal into a 3-D animation
- Set up hierarchical relationships
