Two Words.

1. In groups of 3-4, one 5604 per group,  create a 30 second animation that introduces each member of the group, and finds two things you all have in common.
2. This is to be done ONLY with text and graphics, but mostly text.  No photos, no videos.  You may use audio, but it is not required.
3. Each member of the group should present their name and Two Words that describe them. 
1. The first word should describe what they are.
2. The second word should describe what they are not.
3. The use of type, color, and motion should illustrate the character of each word and the relationships to each other and the artist.
4. The group as a whole will create ONE single QuickTime movie with each of the artists’ “Two Word” projects incorporated, and a final section depicting, in two words, what the entire group has in common – besides being in this class.

 

The idea is that you will ‘group learn’ the fundamentals of After Effects.  You should all know by the end of this project how to:

1. Import files into After Effects
2. Create a Composition.
3. Set Transform key frames.
4. Render a movie using Render Queue. 

 

The final QuickTime movie should be to these specs:

1. NTSC DV Widescreen
2. 720 X 480
3. 29.97 frames per second
4. 30 seconds long. 
5. Rendered with the H.264 Compression
