a more printer-friendly, pdf versionDialogue project

Create a 15-30 second animation illustrating a dialogue pulled from a movie.
You can choose from, (and edit, if you so desire), the folder named “Sound Clips” on our network.  (Remember to COPY it to your local hard drive before incorporating it into you project.)
You can also search for a clip on the internet, (there’s lots of sites out there if you Google “Movie sound files”), or record one of your own.
You can use text or still images, audio (obviously), but no movies for this one.

This will be due next time, at our third class meeting, 9/22/08

As before, please render this out as:

    1. NTSC DV Widescreen
    2. 720 X 480
    3. 29.97 frames per second
    4. 15--30 seconds long.
    5. Rendered with the H.264 Compression
    6. Audio uncompressed, 44.1 or 48 khz, 16-bit

At the end of this project you should know how to:

  1. import and use audio
  2. use markers to note specific points in time on layers
  3. work with AFX text
  4. use parenting on layers
  5. apply effects
  6. use ‘easy ease’
