Fail

Pass

Outstanding

You just filled in the various geometric shapes with solid color. Little or no shade and shadow are apparent in your work.

You managed to fill the B & W images with solid color plus a hint of shading showing 3D form. The character image is starting to show some 3D primative form such as sphere and capsule like forms. You started to show at least one main light source via shadows and hi-light.

Your work shows good 3D form via strong and clear tonal and shading throughout your character. You showed attention to anatomy detail by shading muscle and bone areas with specific light and darkness. You clearly showed multiple colored light sources via shadows and multiple hi-lights.
